Ammon News - The University of Jordan (UoJ), represented by its President, His Excellency Dr. Nathir Obeidat, honored former advisor and Director of Media and Communication at the Royal Hashemite Court, Khalid Dalal, during a graduation ceremony for its 60th batch of students.

Dalal was recognized as one of the university's distinguished alumni, and a pioneer in his professional career and academic background.

About Mr. Khalid Dalal:

Dalal's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in American and English Literature from the University of Jordan, a Master's degree in Media, Communication, and International Relations from the University of Leicester, UK, and the prestigious International Executive Degree in Strategic Communication from Columbia University, New York, USA. Additionally, he has earned the esteemed Civil Service Leadership Certificate from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK, and has participated in advanced senior executive courses in Leadership Communication and Negotiation Strategies at Harvard University, Boston, USA.

His extensive career encompasses experience in both the public and private sectors. He commenced his professional journey as a political writer and editor at The Jordan Times, an independent English-language Jordanian daily, and has contributed to renowned international media outlets, such as Newsweek in the US and Lloyd's of London. He subsequently joined the Royal Hashemite Court in Jordan as Information Deputy Manager at the Media and Communication Directorate (MCD) at His Majesty King Abdullah II's Office, where he progressed to Head of Strategic Planning, Director of Operations, and ultimately, Director of MCD. He later served as Advisor at the Royal Court.

In recent years, Dalal has leveraged his expertise in the private sector, working locally, regionally, and globally as a senior advisor and special representative for media, international strategic communication, and business development. His clientele has included prominent organizations such as Talal Abu Ghazaleh Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Al Ghad Media Corporation in Amman, and various local and Arab tourism and cultural institutions.

With over two decades of experience in cultivating strategic relationships with prominent figures worldwide, he has built a powerful network of connections in the political and media circles locally, regionally and globally.

Dalal has spearheaded several pioneering media initiatives, including Jordan News, a multi-channel English media platform, where he served as Head of the Editorial Board.

His achievements include receiving accolades from distinguished world leaders, including former US Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

He is a prolific writer for the Jordanian Al-Ghad Newspaper and Jordan News multi-media platform.

During the past few years, Dalal has served as a member of the Supreme Committee for Promoting Jordan's Centennial Celebrations.

He is a passionate advocate for climate change awareness, and a fierce defender of wildlife and marine ecosystems.
