Ammon News - Temperatures across the country will dip slightly on Monday, bringing typical summer conditions to the highlands and plains, while the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to experience hotter weather.
According to the Meteorological Department, northwesterly winds are expected to blow at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active.
Similar weather is forecast for Tuesday, with moderate temperatures over the highlands and plains and hotter conditions persisting in the desert and low-lying regions. Winds will remain moderate and northwesterly, picking up at times.
A slight increase in temperatures is expected on Wednesday. Most areas will experience relatively hot conditions, while the desert will turn hotter, and the southern Jordan Valley and Aqaba will face very high temperatures. Northwesterly winds will continue to blow at moderate speeds, with occasional gusts.
On Thursday, the weather will remain relatively hot in most parts of the country, with higher temperatures in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate.
Today’s temperatures ranged between 34 C and 21 C in East Amman, 32 C and 19 C in West Amman, 28 C and 17 C in the northern highlands, and 29 C and 18 C in the Sharah highlands. In the desert regions, highs reached 39 C with lows around 20 C, while the plains recorded temperatures between 33 C and 19 C.
