13-07-2025 11:23 AM

Ammon News - The Palestinian Ministry of Interior said it is following up, in coordination with the Jordanian Ministry of Interior, on complaints regarding unofficial entities selling transportation tickets to travelers via the King Hussein Bridge at prices higher than the official price, before they arrive at the bridge crossing.

Jordan has confirmed its serious follow-up of this issue and has begun reviewing all details to ensure the dignity and rights of travelers, the Ministry added.

It also indicated that the Jordanian and Palestinian sides are working together to develop travel mechanisms, improve infrastructure, and combat any exploitative practices that may affect travelers.

In addition, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior expressed its deep appreciation for the close fraternal relations between Palestine and Jordan, particularly with regard to regulating travel and providing all necessary measures to ensure the comfort of Palestinians.
