Ammon News - In implementation of the royal directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in coordination with the armed forces, on Wednesday resumed sending relief convoys to the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the JHCO said that a convoy of 40 trucks loaded with essential food supplies crossed into the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP), as part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support our people in the Strip.

The aid will be distributed in the northern Gaza Strip to ensure food aid reaches the most affected families, in coordination with local partners.

The resumption comes amid the continued deterioration of humanitarian and living conditions in Gaza, making Jordanian humanitarian aid a fundamental pillar of support and resilience.

JHCO Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, emphasized that the resumption of the convoys embodies Jordan's unwavering commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to standing by the Palestinian people.

Shibli stressed the importance of cooperating with the World Food Programme (WFP) to enhance food security in Gaza, noting that the JHCO has been working daily over the past period to implement food projects within the Strip through bakeries, charities, and the distribution of food and clean water.
