Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone thwarted at dawn on Wednesday a drone infiltration attempt on its western front and within its area of ​​responsibility, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.

Border Guard forces in the Southern Military Zone were able to thwart a drone infiltration attempt, the source added, noting that the rules of engagement were applied after the drone was detected and tracked, and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory.

The source stressed that the armed forces will deal with all force and determination against any threat to the nation's security and the safety of its citizens.
