Ammon News - Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to dip slightly, bringing mild summer conditions to most regions, while areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba continue to experience hotter weather.

Medium-altitude clouds will be observed in parts of the country, and northwesterly winds will be moderate to active at times, raising dust in desert areas.

According to the Meteorological Department’s daily report, the weather is expected to remain mild on Thursday and Friday across the highlands and plains. However, conditions will stay hot in low-lying areas including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Clouds are forecast to appear at medium altitudes, particularly over northern and central regions. Winds will persist from the northwest, ranging from moderate to active, and may stir dust, especially in desert zones.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for Saturday. Despite the increase, summer conditions will remain within seasonal norms in most areas, while the low-altitude regions will continue to experience higher temperatures. Winds will remain moderate and northwesterly.

Today’s temperatures ranged between 31 C and 21 C in eastern Amman, and between 29 C and 19 C in western Amman. In the northern highlands, temperatures ranged from 28 C to 16 C, while in the Sharah highlands, they hovered around 29 C to 19 C.

Desert regions recorded temperatures between 35 C and 17 C, and plains areas saw highs of 32 C and lows of 21 C. The northern Jordan Valley registered 39 C to 22 C, the southern Jordan Valley 41 C to 26 C, the Dead Sea 40 C to 24 C, and Aqaba 40 C to 26 C. Petra
