Ammon News - Director of Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Emad Abu Yaqeen, revealed on Tuesday that the number of people infected from methyl alcohol poisoning has risen to approximately 50.

In a remarks to "Ammon News," Abu Yaqeen said that the number of deaths resulting from methanol poisoning has not increased since Monday, recording 9 cases.

The Ministry of Health performs kidney dialysis on anyone arriving at the hospital with this type of poisoning, as it is the fastest way to save the patient's life, he added.
