Ammon News - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian Ambassador on Tuesday.

The ministry said it would express its strong condemnation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' attack on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, labeling it a violation of Qatar's sovereignty, airspace, international law, and the UN Charter.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi said the attack contradicted the principle of good neighborliness and the historically close relations between Qatar and Iran.

He reiterated Qatar's commitment to dialogue and urged a return to diplomatic channels to resolve disputes, prevent escalation, and enhance regional stability. Reuters
