National team faces Omani counterpart in World Cup qualifiers Thursday

Ammon News - Jordan national football team will play an important match against its Omani counterpart at 7:00 PM -Amman time- on Thursday, at the Qaboos International Stadium in the Omani capital, Muscat, as part of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

This match represents a significant turning point for the team on its path to achieving a historic achievement: qualifying for the World Cup for the first time in its history.

The national team will hold its final training session on the match field this evening, putting the final touches on its playing style and lineup for the match.

The national team list includes 29 players: Yazid Abu Laila, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Nour Bani Attia, Mohammed Al-Amwasi, Abdullah Naseeb, Yousef Abu Al-Jazar, Yazan Al-Arab, Hadi Al-Hourani, Salim Obaid, Hussam Abu Al-Dhahab, Mohammed Abu Al-Nadi, Adham Al-Quraishi, Ahmed Assaf, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saada, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Rajai Ayed, Amer Jamous, Mohammed Al-Dawoud, Mohammed Abu Hashesh, Muhannad Abu Taha, Ali Alwan, Mahmoud Mardi, Muhannad Samreen, Mohammed Abu Zureiq, Ali Al-Azaizeh, Musa Al-Taamari, Ibrahim Sabra, and Yazan Al-Naimat.
