Ammon News - The flagship of Egyptian football has brought a star player back home.
Al Ahly has announced the signing of Mohamed Trezeguet, who will don the club's jersey once again after a decade away.
The 30-year-old midfielder is a product of the Red Devils' academy and began his professional career right here. During his 3 years with Al Ahly's first team, the Egyptian helped the club win the CAF Champions League twice, along with several other international trophies.
Throughout his career, Trezeguet has played for Anderlecht, Aston Villa, Beşiktaş, and several other Turkish clubs. Most recently, the midfielder was with Qatari side Al-Rayyan, where he played since last year.
Trezeguet is set to make his return to the Al Ahly lineup as early as June 15, in the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup against Inter Miami. Daily Sports
