Ammon News - Prime Minister Jafar Hasan on Tuesday strongly condemned Israel's renewed assault on Gaza.
He characterized Israel's aggression on Gaza as "an assault on humanity itself," urging the international community to act and halt what he described as brutality against innocent women and children.
During a cabinet meeting in Madaba on Tuesday, Hasan underscored the Kingdom's unwavering position on the Palestinian question a stance His Majesty has consistently articulated through Jordan's three cardinal principles: rejection of displacement, opposition to permanent resettlement outside Palestine, and refusal to accept the so-called "substitute homeland" proposition.
He also emphasized that His Majesty the King's diplomatic initiatives are fundamentally aimed at bolstering Palestinian resilience in their homeland.
This strategy, he asserted, represents the only credible pathway to secure their legitimate rights, especially their entitlement to establish a sovereign state within the June 4, 1967 boundaries under the two-state solution.
Hassan specifically condemned the weaponization of hunger as a deliberate tactic to drive Palestinians from their ancestral territories despite their determination to remain.
