Ammon News - Beyon has announced the resignation of Faisal Qamhiyah, CEO of Umniah, its telecommunications arm in Jordan. Qamhiyah will conclude his tenure at the end of May 2025, following a career marked by leadership and achievement that has strengthened Umniah’s position in the Jordanian telecom market.

With 12 years of service at Beyon, Qamhiyah has held several key leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer of Beyon before assuming the role of CEO at Umniah. Under his leadership, Umniah executed Beyon’s ambitious growth strategies, including the commercial launch of 5G significantly boosting its market share and financial performance and earning it the title of “Fastest Mobile Network in Jordan”, cementing its status as Jordan’s fastest-growing telecom operator.

Andrew Kvaalseth, CEO of Beyon, recognized Qamhiyah’s contributions, stating, “We appreciate Faisal’s leadership over the years and wish him the very best in his future endeavors. His impact on Umniah has been significant, and while he will be missed, we take pride in the fact that our team at Beyon has gained the knowledge and experience to take on new challenges”.
He added “We remain committed to our people and our strategic objectives at Umniah, and we will continue to support the team in achieving another successful year”.

Reflecting on his tenure, Qamhiyah commented:"My time at Beyon has been an incredible journey, marked by challenges, growth, and significant achievements.
