Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Sunday, reaching near their seasonal averages, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The weather will be relatively cool in most areas, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience relatively warm conditions. Low-altitude clouds may appear, and winds will be light and southeasterly.
On Monday, another increase in temperatures is expected, bringing mild weather to most regions and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds will be present, and moderate southeasterly winds will occasionally become active, raising dust in desert areas.
Tuesday will see a slight drop in temperatures, returning most areas to relatively cool conditions, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba remain relatively warm. Medium and high-altitude clouds are expected, and winds will shift to moderate north-easterlies to north-westerlies, occasionally becoming active and causing dust storms that may reduce visibility, particularly in eastern regions.
A further decline in temperatures is forecast for Wednesday, with cold weather prevailing across most areas. Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with the possibility of scattered rain showers. Winds will be moderate north-westerlies to north-easterlies, occasionally increasing in speed.
Maximum and minimum temperatures today are expected to range between 16 C and 9 C in east Amman, 14 C and 7 C in west Amman, 14 C and 6 C in the northern highlands, and 13 C and 4 C in the Sharah highlands. In desert areas, temperatures will vary between 21 C and 7 C, while the plains will see a range of 16 C to 9 C.
The northern Jordan Valley is expected to record temperatures between 23 C and 12 C, with the southern Jordan Valley reaching between 26 C and 14 C.
