Ammon News - The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) announced its control and awareness plan in preparation for the month of Ramadan and in continuation of periodic efforts throughout the year, to ensure the flow of safe and sound food to citizens and to continue control tours around the clock within a special program for morning and evening shifts to implement field tours and collect samples of food circulating in the markets and follow up on all complaints and observations received through various means of communication and deal with them as quickly as possible.
In a press statement on Tuesday, JFDA Director General Nizar Mheidat, indicated that the plan includes mechanisms to simplify procedures and enhance the efficiency of completing transactions by the organization's cadres in customs centers and intensify efforts to detect, withdraw samples and analyze them in laboratories to ensure the flow of food supplies, especially Ramadan goods.
