Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi affirmed Jordan's support for Syria and its readiness to provide all it can to the brotherly Syrian people in order to overcome the transitional phase, which it wants to be a historical starting point for rebuilding Syria as a free, stable, sovereign homeland that preserves the rights of all its citizens.
Safadi's statements came during his reception the Canadian Special Envoy to Syria, Omar Alghabra, on Monday, and discussed with him ways to enhance bilateral relations and joint coordination regarding developments in the situation in Syria.
Safadi stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to support the Syrian people in rebuilding their homeland through a Syrian-Syrian process in which various components of the Syrian people participate, in a way that guarantees Syria’s unity, security and stability, rids it of terrorism, and preserves the rights of its people, after years of oppression, injustice and destruction.
