Ammon News - The Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip (Hamas) is preparing to hand over Israeli prisoners on Saturday, as part of the sixth batch within the framework of the Gaza agreement and prisoner exchange deal.
Video footage showed the beginning of preparations in the Gaza Strip to begin the process of handing over 3 Israeli prisoners.
Hamas said on Friday that it will release the detainees: "Sasha Alexander Turbanov, Sagi Dekel Han, and Yair Horn."
The military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, "Saraya Al-Quds", announced that the Israeli prisoner who holds Russian citizenship, Alexander Turbanov, will be released.
In return, 36 Palestinian prisoners with life sentences will be released, in addition to the release of 333 prisoners from the Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7, 2023.
The ceasefire agreement began to be implemented on January 19, more than 15 months after the start of the war on Gaza, as the agreement stipulates the release of detainees in the Strip in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
