Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan praised, during a session for the Lower House on Wednesday, the wisdom, prudence and diplomacy of His Majesty the King.

Hassan said at the beginning of the session that His Majesty the King is the first Arab leader to meet with President Trump to discuss developments in the region, most notably the issue of Gaza and the future of the two-state solution, to confront the ideas recently put forward from Washington.

His Majesty the King clearly confirmed that Jordan's position on displacement is clear, as there will be no settlement or displacement at its expense, the Prime Minister added, noting that the King also stressed the importance of adopting an Arab plan to rebuild Gaza for its people without displacing them, and he also clearly stressed that the interest of Jordan, its protection and the Jordanians are above all considerations.

The meeting confirmed to the American administration the Arab role and the importance of adopting an Arab plan to rebuild Gaza for its people and provide them with aid without forcibly displacing Palestinians from their land, which would threaten the entire region, he stated.
