Ammon News - American newspapers covered the most important points that came during the meeting of His Majesty King Abdullah II with the US President at the White House yesterday, Tuesday.

The American newspaper Politico said that the tactical move taken by King Abdullah during his meeting with US President Donald Trump will succeed in reducing tensions between the two allies, regarding the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza to Jordan and the suspension of US aid to Jordan.

His Majesty King Abdullah's diplomatic approach aims to achieve a balance between opposing the displacement plan and the need to maintain strategic relations with the United States, Politico added.

As for the British newspaper The Guardian, it said that His Majesty the King during his meeting with Trump, despite Trump's insistence on displacing Palestinians from Gaza, King Abdullah was clearly rejecting the idea, noting that Jordan also strongly opposes this step.

Other newspapers said that His Majesty's confirmation that Jordan will receive 2,000 sick Palestinian children was a surprise move to the US President and American leaders.
