King in response to Trump: I will do what is best for Jordan's interests

Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, arrived at the White House in Washington, DC, to meet with US President Donald Trump.

His Majesty the King said, in press statements from inside the White House, that everyone's interests should be taken into consideration, according to Reuters.

The King told Trump that he believes there is always a way to peace and prosperity, indicating that he will do what is best for Jordan's interests.

His Majesty said that everyone should wait until Egypt's vision regarding Gaza is revealed, stressing that Jordan will receive 2,000 sick Palestinian children.

The King told the US President that the Arabs will come to America with a response to Trump's plan regarding Gaza, noting that there is a response from several countries.

His Majesty stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host discussions on this matter and will discuss the matter and make a decision that satisfies everyone and is in everyone's interest.

For his part, US President Donald Trump believes that his country will 99% reach an agreement with Egypt regarding Gaza and the displacement of its residents.

Trump said inside the White House that the Palestinians will be safe somewhere else outside Gaza, indicating that Israel's annexation of the West Bank may succeed.

He explained that the American authority will control the Gaza Strip, where it will be developed, which will happen a long time from now, and will bring many jobs to the region.
