Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, in Washington, as part of His Majesty's official visit to the United States.
The Roll Call website, which specializes in covering US Congressional news, said that US President Donald Trump is expected to meet with His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, at 7:30 pm Amman time, followed by a bilateral meeting at 7:35 pm Amman time, and a luncheon will be held at 8:05 pm Amman time.
The King and Crown Prince will leave the White House at 9:05 pm Amman time.
The King is also scheduled to meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, the President’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and members of key Congressional committees.
On Sunday, His Majesty met with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and in Boston, Massachusetts, on Monday evening, with CEOs of American companies and presidents of universities and higher education institutions, to discuss ways to build and develop partnerships with Jordan.
This comes as Jordan, Gazans and Arab states have repeatedly rejected Trump's proposal to displace Palestinians, with human rights advocates and the United Nations describing it as a proposal for ethnic cleansing.
His Majesty the King has repeatedly stressed the "necessity of halting settlement activities and rejecting any attempts to annex lands and displace Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank," stressing the "need to establish the Palestinians on their land."
