Ammon News - Department of the National Library is organizing its first international conference on April 21st, entitled "National Libraries and Archives and Their Role in Preserving National Memory in a Changing Digital Environment".

The conference will be chaired by the Director General of the National Library, Dr. Nidal Al-Ayasrah.

The conference is being held on the occasion of the Department of the National Library's celebration of the 'Golden Jubilee' of its establishment, and its activities will continue for five days in the halls of the National Library and the Royal Cultural Center, with the participation of Jordanian, Arab and foreign researchers, who will present scientific papers and present real experiences and practices in the four axes of the conference.
