According to Google, the key advantage of Gemini 2.0 Flash is its twice-as-fast response time compared to its predecessor, Gemini 1.5 Flash. This upgrade also enhances the model’s ability to comprehend and generate more accurate responses to complex topics, making it particularly useful for tasks such as learning, writing, and programming.

The new AI model is now integrated by default into Google’s web and mobile applications. Users can access its features by simply opening the Gemini app on their smartphones or visiting the platform’s website.

Google also confirmed that older versions of its AI models, including Gemini 1.5 Flash and Gemini 1.5 Pro, will remain available for a few more weeks. However, users have the option to manually update their software through their device settings.
