Ammon News - The number of companies registered in January 2025 increased by 13% compared to the same month in 2024, with 705 companies compared to 623 companies.

The total registered capital amounted to more than JD20 million, as the highest type of companies registered in 2025 is limited liability, with 541 companies and a percentage of 76.9 percent of registered companies, with registered capital exceeding JD13 million, according to a report by the Companies Control Department.

25 companies reduced their capital, by a total of about JD46 million, while 154 companies increased their capital, by a total of about JD104 million, so that the total rate of capital increase increased by 144 percent over the same period in 2024, amounting to more than JD53 million.

The number of companies that were deregistered or cancelled decreased by 63 percent, or 93 companies, during last January, compared to the same month in 2024.
