Ammon News - Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya received on Saturday the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Amy Pope, at the Jaber border crossing.
The two sides held a meeting in which they discussed the latest developments and updates, especially those related to the voluntary and safe return of Syrian refugees.
Faraya reviewed the efforts made by Jordan to facilitate the return of the Syrians to their country, as well as the facilities taken by the Jordanian government to serve the smooth entry of goods and basic materials necessary for reconstruction in Syria.
For her part, Amy Pope thanked Jordan for what it has provided and continues to provide to the Syrians, praising the measures taken at the Jaber border crossing, and promised to provide support for development and modernization operations in the context of the programs implemented by the international organization.
