Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Saturday will visit Egypt and meet with his counterpart Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
Safadi will participate in a meeting that includes the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
Safadi will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs and the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
The ministers will discuss developments in the region, especially efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and provide sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip, and the need to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and enable it to carry out its international mandate, according to sources.
