Ammon News - Speaker of the Lower House Ahmad Safadi said on Monday that talk about displacing Palestinians from Gaza is not consistent with the values ​​of justice, stressing that Jordan has made every sincere effort to establish peace.

"We will take every step that will strengthen our national position, the broad title of which is no to displacement and no to an alternative homeland," Safadi added.

Safadi pointed out that no one has the right to determine the fate of Palestine except its steadfast people, stressing that Jordan will not be an alternative homeland and that whoever cares about Gaza does not serve the expansionist agenda of the occupation.

The Lower House Speaker also explained that the House will take steps to strengthen the national position by rejecting displacement, noting that talk about displacing Palestinians is not consistent with the values ​​of justice and freedom advocated by democratic systems.
