Ammon News - Resigned Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir congratulated US President Donald Trump on his initiative to transfer Palestinian residents from Gaza to Jordan and Egypt.

In a post on X, Ben-Gvir said: "One of our demands from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to encourage voluntary immigration."

"When the president of the world's largest power, Trump, himself raises the idea, it would be wise for the Israeli government to implement it - encourage immigration now!," he added.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Jordan and Egypt should take more Palestinians from Gaza, where Israel's military assault has caused a dire humanitarian situation and killed tens of thousands.
