Ammon News - Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya revealed that the average number of administrative detainees has decreased to 1,495 per day, instead of 2,200 people.

During the parliament session on Wednesday, Faraya said that he is constantly directing administrative governors to rationalize the use of administrative detention.

Administrative detention comes based on the information flowing about him, whether he is sentenced in prison or outside prison, and indicates his intentions and behavior, the minister added.

Faraya also indicated that administrative governors dealt with 27,000 complaints during the year 2024.
