Ammon News - Energy expert Hashem Aqel expected that fuel prices will increase in next month's pricing by varying percentages, depending on global prices.
Aqel told Ammon that oil derivatives prices have witnessed increases from the beginning of the month until today, noting that we are still 12 days away from the end of the month, and prices may change up or down during that time according to global market data.
He expected the price of 90-octane gasoline to increase by approximately one piaster per liter, or 1%, and the price of 95-octane gasoline also increased by one piaster, or 0.09%.
He also expected the price of diesel to rise by two piasters per liter, or 2.8%.
Aqel justified these increases by saying that Brent crude prices witnessed a significant increase during the past week, exceeding $82 per barrel, the highest level since August 2024.
