In cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MoH), the PSD highlighted that a correctional and rehabilitation institution had been equipped to take in inmates who test positive for COVID-19. The new measures also discussed the situation of new inmates; they will be tested within the first 14 days of their admission to the correctional and rehabilitation institutions, and those who test positive for the disease will be transferred to the institution in which COVID-19 inmates stay to receive necessary medical treatment. Cases have been recorded among inmates, and they were dealt with according to the protocol, it added.
