Ministry of Health: chronic deficiency in medical staff and 55% is the occupancy rate of ICU

Ammon News - The secretary-general of the health ministry for epidemics, Wa'el Hayajneh, on Wednesday said that the occupancy rate of ICU in the Jordanian hospitals reached 55%

He added that the announcement of the central control center recently helps in facilitating the process for people and doctors to find hospital beds.


The health ministry suffers from chronic deficiency of medical staff. therefore, the government instructed to appoint more than 1900 medical staff to work at three field hospitals which are under construction in Amman, Ma'an and Irbid.
