Ammon News -
AMMAN (Petra) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh on Thursday voiced Jordan's total rejection of what has been reported by the media on Israeli plans to expand the Buraq Square in the courtyard of Al Aqsa Mosque in a way that threatens the Islamic monuments.

The minister also expressed Jordan's condemnation of the unilateral actions by Israel in Bab Al- Magharibah area, warning against harming al-Aqsa Mosque, based on the Hashemite care and guardianship of Islamic and Christian sacred sites in the city.

Israel should comply with the international law and immediately stop such unilateral actions, which increase tension, threaten world peace and undermine peace efforts, the minister said.
