Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Based on the recommendation made by the Covid-19 Crisis Cell at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), the Committee for the Sustainability of Work, Production and Supply Chains has decided on Sunday to extend the comprehensive curfew and isolation decision on Ain Basha District's areas in the central Balqa governorate until Thursday morning, 15 October.

The extension decision comes based on epidemiological investigation reports in the isolated area, where locally transmitted infections are found out to continue being recorded and their numbers have not decreased, according to a committe statement.

The competent authorities will continue to follow on the developments of the epidemiological indicators in the isolated region and tighten monitoring to check on adherence to preventive measures, especially wearing face masks and physical distancing, the statement added.
