AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Friday, participated in the Alliance for Multilateralism meeting, co-organized by Germany and France, through videoconference, in the sidelines of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Safadi said that Jordan will remain committed to multilateral action, and will continue to work with the international community towards a future that achieves integration and builds on our common capabilities.

He also stressed the importance of multilateral action in the Middle East region that seeks to solve the challenges of depriving the Palestinian people of their right to freedom, and an independent state on their national soil, the absence of peace, conflicts, refugees, governance, and gender gap.

Safadi said that strengthening multilateral action is a condition for building a better future that requires effective cooperation and partnerships.

Safadi called for supporting the Kingdom's initiative, and adopting the charter that it will propose to the General Assembly for the protection of ecosystems and living creatures.

He said that adopting this charter would be a quantum leap in efforts to protect the environment and biodiversity.
