Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, on Wednesday instructed the competent authorities to enforce the penalties set forth in the defense orders and Civil Service Bureau bylaws against 37 public entities and agencies which have failed to ensure adherence to health safety measures.
Submitted by the Audit Bureau to the premier, the pandemic-related penalties were taken in accordance with monitoring reports prepared by the bureau's inspection teams, who have embarked on their field campaign on Tuesday.
The surprise inspection visits made by the Audit Bureau teams aimed to check on staffers' and service recipients' commitment to preventive measures, notably wearing face masks, temperature checks at entry, physical distancing and the use of the "Aman" (Safety) application for smartphones, which alerts users if they come into contact with a COVID-19 positive person.
The field campaign also verified the public institution’s commitment to operating at the minimum staff number and availability of sterilization devices and tools.
On Tuesday, Razzaz ordered the Audit Bureau, internal control units, and the "Mystery Shopper" program to continue conducting surprise visits and "intensively" nationwide, over the coming days to verify the extent of all government institutions' and departments' compliance to ensure the highest degree of commitment with safety and prevention measures.
