Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An 85-year-old woman suffering from preexisting conditions died Monday from the coronavirus, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 26, according to the public hospital's director Abdul Razzaq Khashman.

Khashman told Petra in an interview that the deceased, who was on a ventilator, was transferred from a private hospital several days ago and had chronic illnesses.

He urged the public to adhere to health and preventive regulations, wear masks and follow utmost caution to avoid infection with the virus.
