Heat wave makes sweltering comeback tomorrow

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A stable pattern of relatively hot weather is expected to form today, spreading across the highlands and plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds will appear at different altitudes and winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at night.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, scorching heat is forecast to make a return and sweep across most parts of the Kingdom, with temperatures peaking 5 to 6 degrees above annual average.

In Amman, temperatures are forecast to hover around 35C degrees today, dropping to 23C during night hours, while the Dead Sea, and the Gulf of Aqaba will see a scorching 41C and 42C respectively, sliding to 26C during night time.
