Gov't isolates Sweimah town in Balqa following COVID-19 cases

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - After a new outbreak of COVID-19 cases in Balqa governorate, the government has decided to isolate the Sweimah town and some parts of al-Karameh town in the governorate to prevent the spread of additional infections, announced the Committee for the Sustainability of Work, Production and Supply Chains, on Thursday.

The decision to isolate these parts of Balqa governorate will start tomorrow, Friday, at 6am until further notice.

In addition, this decision includes closing mosques and churches, markets, schools and gathering areas. Curfew hours in Sweimah town and al-Karameh town will be from 8pm until 6am.
