Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Labor Nidal Bataineh has set a mechanism aimed to facilitate the return of expatriate workers to the Kingdom, as Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) was reopened recently officially to the air traffic operations.

As per the mechanism okayed by Bataineh, migrant workers, who departed Amman prior to March 18, and hold work permits that are still valid, to enter the Kingdom according to the approved procedures and the health protocol implemented at the QAIA, according to a ministry statement issued on Thursday.

According to the minister's decision, expatriate workers will not be allowed to enter the Kingdom if they are registered on the "Hemayah.jo," an online platform, which was launched to coordinate their repatriation amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The decision also bans expat workers, whose work permits have expired, to enter the Kingdom, announced the ministry.
