Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, said that the government doesn't tolerate "twisting the state's arm."

"The Jordanian state, which has accumulated achievements and gains over the past 100 years, especially in the areas of health, education and security, won't abandon these accomplishments," Adaileh said during a press conference held at the Prime Ministry on Sunday

Adaileh added that the exceptional economic and social circumstances resulting from the impacts of the coronavirus crisis requires cooperation and solidarity to bear its repercussions, pointing out that workers in vital sectors and facilities, including education, realize that the government's approach is to serve the citizen and not a class, party or group.

"The government was hoping that matters related to the developments of the suspended Teachers Association wouldn't reach this far in terms of escalation and grave legal violations," Adaileh noted.

The minister underlined that the state is keen on the teacher and improving his living conditions out of its keenness to stabilize the educational process and its advancement, indicating that it has provided and is still providing a lot to teachers and will spare no efforts to provide more when economic circumstances allow.
