Amman Prosecutor General explains reasons to detain members of Teachers Association

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The thirteen defendants, who are members of the suspended Teachers Association, were referred on Saturday to the Amman Prosecutor General to be interrogated over presented investigative lawsuits brought against them.

The defendants were interrogated according to the due legal principles, in the presence of their legal representative, Amman Prosecutor General Hassan Abdallat said in a statement.

He added that as a result of the interrogation, the public prosecutor decided to detain each one of them for a week in prison, and the investigation is still ongoing with these lawsuits.
