In a press statement, the minister said the decision, effective as of Wednesday, came in accordance with 2nd Defense Order No. (6) issued in 2020, and is based on a recommendation made by Work, Production and Supply Chains Committee. The decision, according to Hammouri, was taken after assessing the feedback on the multi-stage Covid-19 matrix, which tackles the pandemic, presented by a number of economic activities.
