"Himmat Watan" Fund to cover expenses of return of incapable Jordanians from abroad

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The "Himmat Watan" Fund committee on Tuesday delegated Prime Minister Omar Razzaz to approve a program to cover the expenses of the return of Jordanians from abroad who lack financial solvency.

The coverage program will be implemented as per the criteria set by the Foreign Ministry as an aspect of spending from the account's funds after the program has been duly approved, the fund's chairman, Abdul Karim Kabariti said in an official letter sent to the Prime Minister.

In a statement issued on Tuesday Kabariti called on the Foreign Ministry to provide the committee with periodic reports on the progress of the program and the amounts spent.

The Foreign Minister had requested the allocation of an amount of JD1 million from the fund's account to cover the expenses of Jordanians wishing to return to the Kingdom; due to lack of financial solvency to cover the cost of their return.
