Mafraq village placed under lockdown after new coronavirus infection was recorded

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Authorities in the Mafraq Governorate Monday placed part of the village of Ain Bani Hassan in the Arhab District after a new case of the coronavirus was discovered.

Mafraq Governor Yasser Al-Adwan told Petra that part of a neighborhood in the village was locked down after local authorities were informed about the new infection, which he contracted from individuals who came into contact with an infected truck driver from the Khanasri village.

He said that epidemiological investigation teams in the northeastern region will collect samples from the patient's contacts in Ain Bani Hassan, a village with a population of about 1,500.
