During the meeting, His Majesty underscored that partnership between the government and Parliament is key to working on important legislation, noting the importance of the ongoing development of the judiciary.

The King said all are required to support and implement the economic stimulus packages and programmes, which will reflect positively and tangibly on citizens’ standard of living.

Meeting attendees confirmed the readiness of state institutions to proceed with holding parliamentary elections, and to coordinate efforts among the various agencies involved.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination Bisher Khasawneh, and Adviser to His Majesty for Policies and Media Kemal Al Nasser attended the meeting.
