It said the government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, has obtained the consent of the Chinese authorities for the evacuation from the city, which had been placed under quarantine to control an outbreak of the coronavirus. The Jordanian embassy in Beijing was in contact with Chinese authorities and Jordanian nationals to complete the evacuation as soon as possible, it added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Upon the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, an aircraft will be sent to evacuate Jordanians from the Chinese city of Wuhan "as soon as possible," as government authorities began arranging for the evacuation, according to a statement.

It said the government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, has obtained the consent of the Chinese authorities for the evacuation from the city, which had been placed under quarantine to control an outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Jordanian embassy in Beijing was in contact with Chinese authorities and Jordanian nationals to complete the evacuation as soon as possible, it added.
