2 Jordanians held in Syria released

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Syrian authorities have released two Jordanians, who were detained in the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said.

Ministry spokesperson Daifallah Al Fayez confirmed that Jordanian nationals Ragheb Salim and Rami al-Toura had been freed, adding that the release took place in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, which was following up on their case with the Syrian authorities.

It said the diplomatic mission continued contacts with the Syrian government to win the release of all Jordanian citizens and provide the necessary consular assistance to them.

Al Fayez praised the Syrian authorities for their cooperation for the release of the detainees.
