Today's agreement came after lengthy discussions, intensive contacts and moves initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since the arrest of Al-Labadi and Marei, the Minister said. He added that the government has been following up on the issue from the start under direct instructions from His Majesty King Abdullah II to take all necessary steps to release both detainees at all costs. Safadi confirmed that the work was underway to arrange for the return of Al-Labadi and Marei to the Kingdom.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi announced on Monday that Israel has pledged to release Jordanian citizens Hiba al-Labadi and Abdul Rahman Marei before the end of the current week.

Today's agreement came after lengthy discussions, intensive contacts and moves initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since the arrest of Al-Labadi and Marei, the Minister said.
