Ghunaimat congratulates Saudi Arabia on national day, lauds its ties with Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Jumana Ghuneimat lauded as "historic and deep-rooted" the ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Ghuneimat told the Saudi News Agency that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, is keen on enhancing relations, coordination and consultation with Saudi Arabia at all levels to serve mutual relations and Arab and Islamic issues.

She congratulated Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Kingdom's 89th National Day, which falls on September 23, wishing the Saudi Kingdom further progress and prosperity under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

"This occasion mirrors the long-standing history and position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the region, and constitutes a milestone for the continuous renaissance of Saudi Arabia in all stages, reaching its current development and growth in all sectors and fields," Ghuneimat said.

She noted that both Kingdoms enjoy close and ongoing coordination and cooperation, with constant directions from both leaderships on all bilateral and broader issues in the region and the world, especially the Palestinian issue, which constitutes the first central issue.

On the economic side, Ghuneimat said Jordan highly appreciates Saudi Arabia's support to the Kingdom in various circumstances and challenges it faced, especially economic ones, adding that Jordan is looking forward to attract more Saudi investments.
