Mercury levels are expected to hover between 30 and 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 30 - 17 in the northern cities, and 26 - 18 in the southern governorates, while maximum temperatures in Aqaba are expected to shoot up to 38 degrees. The JMD forecast similar mild temperatures for the weekend, with low-altitude clouds and moderate to active northwesterly winds.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather forecast for Thursday is moderate in the highlands and plains, and relatively hot to hot in other areas across the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) reported.

Mercury levels are expected to hover between 30 and 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 30 - 17 in the northern cities, and 26 - 18 in the southern governorates, while maximum temperatures in Aqaba are expected to shoot up to 38 degrees.

The JMD forecast similar mild temperatures for the weekend, with low-altitude clouds and moderate to active northwesterly winds.
